1. ENGAGE
Curiosity | Collaboration | Chemistry
Our initial visit is meant to give us a sense of your priorities, desired land use, and personal aesthetic. We cover the property’s history, exposure, drainage, borrowed landscapes, topographic considerations, and more.
We’ll discuss general cost consideration, ways to get more for less, conduct a feasibility review, and look into innovative ways to achieve your goals and then some.
We’ll explore the passive influences in your life; travel, relationships, hobbies, past experiences, and architectural influences. We’ll watch for the nuances, communication style/s; we’ll take note and and incorporate them into our working relationship. This is where the spark begins.
2. Design
As a process-driven collective, we move your vision through preliminary sketches and mood boards, 3D renderings & masterplans and build details through exceptional working drawing packages informed by our trades and technical partners.
Lead by Danée’s 20 year tenure in outdoor living space builds, Eden’s design associates weave together the structural elements, planting composition and natural & hardscape materials to meet the desired vision. The goal is to capture and conceptualize your ideas into an established set of design mock-ups, ready for pricing and production.
3. Curate
Here we determine the scope of work required to execute the design. We bring together our best construction partners, craftsmen and source quality materials, for your project and its success. Together, we build the budget, logistical timelines, facilitate permits, and plan for variables.
Extensive sourcing is done upfront, to build confidence regarding final colours, configurations, textures and longevity. In pre-construction, we confirm topographic details , introduce ourselves to your neighbours, and assess available utilities and access constraints. As SOP for your build is charted and agreed upon to avoid site congestion, clear access, ensure safety and plan for potential pivots.
4. CONSTRUCT
With 20+ years under our belts designing and facilitating landscapes, the strongest build executions are those lead with Danée at the helm. Supported in trust by our construction partners and industry leaders is what makes working with Eden a bespoke, concierge experience. You can feel the camaraderie and BUZZ on site, tethered by a common goal and pride for each project. There’s really nothing like it — grace under pressure.
As Primary Contractor or even when invited to support the construction as a leading field expert, our tenure and construction-driven design foundations, are the defining element that our referees have come to rely on. Carrying a design through construction allows us to advocate on your behalf for quality, ingenuity, efficiency and accountability. Our methods are agile; pivoting in the face of each challenge to find solutions that become opportunities.
5. Cultivate
In collaboration with local talent and some of the best horticulture sources across BC, brokering only the most fitting accoutrements for your space, the cultivation of your vision is in the greatest of hands with our team. From the building envelope to appliances, auxiliary buildings, spas, furnishings and, of course, plant tapestries; Eden oversees a wide array of exterior enhancements,

While we coin ourselves outdoor-living experts, we are also industry-celebrated horticulturists and plant enthusiast, curating exceptional botanical displays whether they be minimalist and wild or traditional and lush.
