Danée Lambourne

A seasoned expert in white-glove client services, Danée's background is steeped in thoughtful Design, user experience, portfolio management, lifestyle and horticulture. A journey that has formed the "secret sauce" that shapes Eden's contributions in the Outdoor Living Design and Build domain. Danée developed a deep appreciation for nature's beauty, sustenance, and therapeutic qualities from an early age. Raised in the Fraser Valley, making her way to Vancouver Island in her early 20s; she immersed herself in local produce, nursery production, and community advocacy.
Leaning into her business studies, Danée's love for outdoor living, plants, and construction lead her to a role she commands with grace. Recognized for her design execution and adept management of construction projects, she founded Inventing Eden Landscapes, our holistic-regenerative focussed division. Later launching what is now the Premier Design/Build management firm, EDEN Projects Ltd., specializing in Bespoke Outdoor Living Space Design and Build.
With over two decades of experience shaping landscapes on BC's wild West Coast, Danée calls upon top-tier craftsmanship, suppliers, services and affiliates. Her work speaks to her expertise in navigating challenging sites, from access and congestion issues to sites that navigate Indigenous and heritage designations. Be there extreme grades, unwanted guests, access or exposure complexities, Danée’s team will bring a thoughtful and pragmatic approach with an unwavering dedication to your goals.
Fuelled by her profound passion for the natural world, Danée's deepest devotion lies in fostering connections. Pivoting gracefully from ‘client advocate’ to ‘Foreman’, she leads with confidence and vision, emphasizing collaboration while celebrating the contributions of her fellow trade partners and creators. As she aptly puts it, - "We stand on the shoulders of giants. Without our trades community, we’re simply dreamers.“
LAUREN LEBLANC

Vancouver Island Born and raised, Lauren is deeply connected to the lush landscapes of the Pacific Northwest.
With a vibrant passion for horticulture, she is a certified expert in her field, specializing in ornamental gardens that flourish in the diverse microclimates of Vancouver Island.
Nurturing and perfecting outdoor spaces, while becoming intimately acquainted with a vast array of plant species suited to the island's unique conditions; Lauren’s guiding principle of 'right plant, right place' ensures not only thriving gardens but also harmonious integration with their surroundings.
As our Production lead, Lauren echoes Eden’s collective enthusiasm for quality, comradery and organization. She leads with strong communication and follow up, keeps project goals at the forefront and drives home the benefits of unity by closing loops and providing support where needed.
Lauren applies critical thinking & active listening when considering the goals of a garden, tailoring each space to bring enjoyment and solace. Her meticulous attention to detail and commitment to excellence make her an invaluable asset, ensuring every project she leads achieves both aesthetic pause and ecological benefits.

SOFIA RODRIGUEZ JIMENEZ

Sofia is the backbone of our team, serving as our Saving-Grace and embodying our Studio Values as ambassador. Officially, she is the Finance and Operations liaison, leveraging her background in client services and the world of finance to seamlessly support all departments. Sofia excels at engaging and guiding clients, suppliers, contractors, and collaborators, fostering relationships and cultivating trust while ensuring everyone feels valued and heard.
In addition to her pivotal role as the assistant to our Director, Sofia approaches every task and challenge with grace and devotion. Her innate ability to anticipate Danée's needs and readiness, coupled with a keen understanding of our clients' goals, underscores her dedication and commitment to excellence.
Once away from the desk, Sofia prioritizes her family life and her two young boys, actively participating in her community and seeking solace in outdoor relaxation to rejuvenate her soul. Undoubtedly, Sofia stands as an invaluable asset to our team, reinforcing the benefits of having a strong professional woman at the helm of Operations.
RAYANA SONDAKH

Born and raised in Indonesia, inspired by traditional Asian architecture, Rayana is a seasoned landscape designer with over 7 years of experience, delivering rich and thoughtfully curated spaces for projects across North America while working remotely from her current residency in Bali.
Rayana completed her degree in Architecture at Sam Ratulangi University in Manado. She has been collaborating with the Eden team for just over a year and joins us weekly from Bali, bringing a spa/resort vibe to every project; working on residential projects locally & internationally to keep her designs diverse; taking innovative ideas from each project to elevate your outdoor living space with an influence outside of our peripheral.
Three years ago Rayan created her own architecture studio, and accepted a remote residency role with Eden on our design team. She both thrives here and inspires. Working with bright and inspiring minds all over the world drives her to achieve her goals as a creative. Still, Rayana never forgets her roots and strives to pay homage to the vast & beautiful culture of traditional Indonesian principles and architecture, the natural world and cherished biophilic principals of the plant-human connection.
Chelsea Bilbar

Chelsea Bilbar is a passionate architectural technologist with a strong foundation in sustainable and inclusive design. A recent graduate of Centennial College’s Architectural Technology program in Toronto—with an earlier degree in Architecture from the University of Mindanao—Chelsea brings a global perspective and a deep-rooted commitment to environmentally conscious design.
Since joining Eden Projects in 2024, Chelsea has applied her skills to real-world landscapes where technical insight meets ecological intention. She thrives on collaboration, creative problem-solving, and the challenge of translating big ideas into beautiful, buildable outcomes.
Chelsea’s love for green architecture and thoughtful placemaking continues to fuel her growth. She believes in the power of design to uplift communities and transform how people connect with the spaces around them—and she’s dedicated to doing just that.
Nicole Chadwick

Born and raised on Vancouver Island, Nicole’s connection to nature runs deep. Her fondest memories come from hours spent in her family’s garden, where a love for plants, outdoor living, and it’s biophilic benefits first took root. That early curiosity has blossomed into a lifelong passion for crafting experiences that feel thoughtful, grounded, and purpose driven.
Tenured in the Luxury resort and spa industry—now a decade plus long, working in Victoria’s most celebrated locations —Nicole has finely tuned an eye for detail, deeply motivated in the curation and celebration of what makes an experience truly unique and memorable for each guest.. She brings a genuine appreciation for intentional spaces and meaningful moments, always mindful of how people feel within them.
Now a vital part of Eden Projects’ creative team, Nicole helps shape the way our brand tells its story—through visuals, words, and a heartfelt approach that captures not only our work, but what inspires the work and the way we contribute to the industry. Her work is rooted in curiosity, care, and a commitment to quality, reflecting the studio’s values of creativity and connection.
Whether behind the lens or crafting narratives, Nicole’s presence is a steady, thoughtful force—bridging luxury, lifestyle, and the natural world with every story she tells.

This Resident Aussie Duo take their roles quite seriously. Rounding up ill-placed sticks, motivating fast rakes and brooms, and announcing deliveries and site visitors, taking great care to ensure everyone is happy and entertained.
